The Postal Museum presents an intimate exhibition of painter and illustrator Jindřich Ulrich. Visitors can view more than fifty miniature oil paintings complemented by the artist's designs for postage stamps from the museum's collections. Ulrich's work encompasses oil paintings on wooden panels, often depicting figures from court culture, literature, philosophy, and music, with an emphasis on precise craftsmanship and attention to detail. The painter draws inspiration from his beloved 18th century, reflecting specific figures from the artistic world or motifs from the court culture of emperors Rudolf II and Joseph II. An integral part of his oeuvre are also small painted carved figurines of birds and other objects. The exhibition takes place in the historic building of Vávra Mill in Prague 1, whose interiors are adorned with wall paintings by Josef Navrátil from 1847. The museum is located at Nové mlýny 2, Prague 1; the nearest metro station is Náměstí republiky (line B), and the nearest tram stop is Revoluční.
