Global Bitget Bitcoin Pizza Den

Global Bitget Bitcoin Pizza Den is an annual celebration of Bitcoin Pizza Day, held at Cross Club for the sixth time. It commemorates the historic moment when Laszlo Hanyecz bought two pizzas for 10,000 BTC on May 22, 2010 – the first real-world transaction in cryptocurrency. The event is part of the global PizzaDAO initiative, which in 2026 is organizing similar events in over 500 cities worldwide. In Prague, pizza is distributed free of charge at the Cross Club café – visitors must reserve their slice in advance at rsv.pizza/prague.

The programme takes place outdoors (moving indoors in case of very bad weather) and includes: welcome and PizzaDAO history (17:00), partner presentations and quiz with prizes (18:00), another round of the PizzaDAO quiz (19:00), and closing remarks (approx. 21:00). Main partner Bitget will offer one drink to everyone who shows their registration on bitget.com and provides their UID. The programme also features a graffiti competition in the "Pizza & Bitcoin" style with live creation on-site by artists from Molotow Praha. Entry to the event is free; registration via Eventbrite.
