Works that Antonio Vivaldi composed for his girls' ensemble at the Venetian orphanage Ospedale became so popular in their time that concerts by this mysterious orchestra became legendary.

About the venue: Vzlet

Vzlet is a multifunctional cultural centre in the Vršovice district of Prague 10, housed in an Art Deco building dating from 1921. Originally a cinema, it later served as a film archive warehouse before reopening after reconstruction in 2021. The centre was founded by three Prague cultural organisations: theatre company VOSTO5, baroque orchestra Collegium 1704, and Kino Pilotů. It hosts concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and other live arts, and includes the Vzlet Café on site.
