Weekend Creative Workshop for the Václav Sokol Exhibition for Children 4-7 Years, May 23, 2026 from 11:00

This weekend creative workshop complements the Václav Sokol – Abundance exhibition at Museum Kampa and invites young children into a world of simple shapes, lines, and images. Together we will discover how ordinary things – rain, boats, light, or animals – can become magical stories. Children will playfully learn about the work of artist Václav Sokol (*1938), who loved drawing simple shapes and finding beauty in the world around us. The art workshop will nurture imagination, attention to detail, and the joy of creation – children will draw, experiment with lines, and create their own "world of abundance," full of colors, shapes, and stories. The programme is suitable for younger children (4–7 years old) who may be accompanied by parents. Programme duration: 60 minutes. Tickets can be purchased on GoOut or at the museum box office.
