Kunčický Kravál 2026

Kunčický Kravál is a traditional open-air festival held annually since 2001 in the natural grounds Pod lipami in Letohrad-Kunčice under the motto "Folk celebration for folk prices". The festival is organized by the Kunčice volunteer fire brigade with support from friends and supporters of the event. In 2026, it takes place on Friday, August 7.

Two stages will feature bands across genres – the festival focuses primarily on punk, ska, hardcore, and related styles. The line-up so far includes the band Nežfaleš. Typically around 13 bands perform, with the programme starting at 16:00. The festival regularly attracts around 900–1000 visitors.

Home-cooked food is available at folk prices. Parking and camping are free – a designated area for tents is available directly in the grounds. Admission is paid in cash on site (in 2025 it was 350 CZK until 18:00 and 500 CZK from 18:00). Entry is via a wristband, which also serves as a re-entry pass to the grounds – it must be worn at all times during the festival; if the wristband is lost, re-entry is not permitted. Glass bottles, weapons, knives, and outside food and drink are not allowed in the grounds. The organizer reserves the right to conduct personal security checks.
