Loukamosaic – Colors of Words
Malostranská beseda, Prague
90–490 Kč · ≈ 3.7–20 €
An interactive exhibition Loukamosaic – Colors of Words runs in the Gallery of Malostranská Beseda from April 1 to June 30, 2026, daily from 10:00 to 18:00 (for schools on weekdays from 9:00). Eleven artists from France, Italy, and the Czech Republic have created objects that respond to movement, sound, and touch, engaging all the senses of children and adults. From France: Estelle Lacombe, Anne Sarrazin, Agnès Badiche, and Vincent Gassin-Gradstein; from Italy: Liliana Malta; from the Czech Republic: Veronika Doutlíková, Renáta Weidlichová, Petr Nikl, Michal Bouzek, Lucie Crocro, and Veronika Hanušová. The project is led by Michal Bouzek and Lucie Crocro and understands the "common meadow" as a space of diversity and encounter. The exhibition includes a collective work created by over 7,500 children and adults from around the world. A section called Colors of Words is dedicated to blind artists and includes elements in Braille script – the first three letters in Braille express the color of a triangular fragment. Free workshops are offered for children from children's homes and for the blind. The exhibition has an educational dimension: it guides children to discover nature and the world of fantasy through routes and an interactive quiz. It is connected to educational trails on Petřín Hill along the Raoul Wallenberg Promenade. The curator is Mgr. Klára Guth – Vladaj, Ph.D. The gallery is located in a Renaissance attic with a view of Prague Castle. Admission ranges from 90 to 490 CZK.
