The two-day festival "Something Like Punk in Police 2026" takes place on June 5–6 at Police Castle in Police u Jemnice, in the southernmost corner of Vysočina. The festival revives the legendary Punk in Police, whose first edition was held in 2004 and last (fifth) edition in 2008 — now returning in a new, genre-diverse form under organizer Viktor Piler, who also produces Ponava café in Brno.
Friday starts at 18:00 with the programme running until at least midnight. The stage will feature Vision Days, Chci Pnutí, and Gloster 69. The common thread of the first day is punk, big beat, and beer and wine culture.
Saturday is more genre-diverse — the first band plays already at lunchtime. Acts will include Volant, Záviš, Tygroo, Hello Marcel, Kontrolla, Frequency Illusion, The Queues, RV-4, and 1flfsoap. The programme includes tastings of craft beers and wine from a family winery, among other offerings.
The site features a tent village in the adjacent park, with water and toilets available 24/7. Admission: 600 CZK (both days), 250 CZK (Friday), 350 CZK (Saturday).
