Povaleč 2026

Povaleč is a multi-genre festival held since 2006 in the grounds of the Baroque Valeč Castle and its adjoining garden in the Karlovy Vary region. The 2026 edition is a milestone – the 20th anniversary of the festival – taking place 6–8 August 2026.

The programme includes music, theatre, films, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, performances and podcasts. Musical performances take place on stages Áčko, Béčko, Céčko, PubStage and an electronic stage; classical music will be heard in the Church of the Holy Trinity. A children's programme is available on the Children's Stage. The festival grounds are unfenced and open continuously from Thursday to Sunday.

Admission is suggested – the minimum pre-sale price starts at 1,000 CZK and includes a beer token. Higher ticket categories offer bonuses (free drink, castle entry, etc.). Tickets are available for pre-sale via the GoOut platform or on-site. Single-day tickets are not available due to the open nature of the grounds. Camping in the grounds is free; only parking is charged.

Transport: bus is recommended (FlixBus, ROPID). By train you can reach Libkovice station (via Rakovník), from which it is approximately 5 km on foot via Kostrčany and Jeřeň. Car capacity is limited.

The festival is organised by the Festival Povaleč association with more than fifty members (address: Zámecká 20, 364 53 Valeč, ID: 05654335). The association's aim is to support young art and develop cultural life in Valeč.
