Rockový Hangár 2026

Rockový Hangár is a music and technology festival for all generations held at Jičín Airport – Terminal North, Porák. The 5th anniversary edition takes place on 22–23 May 2026. The festival began as a small gathering of rock music fans and aviation enthusiasts – the first edition attracted nearly three thousand visitors. It has grown from a one-day event into a two-day festival welcoming entire families. The programme features performances by rock bands from Jičín and the surrounding region, plus an all-day exhibition of technical exhibits – historic aircraft, cars, motorcycles, military and agricultural machinery, and RC models. The schedule also includes flight demonstrations, parachute jumps, and scenic flight opportunities. Special workshops and activities are prepared for children. The Friday evening concert "For the Impatient" takes place on 22 May 2026 from 19:00 in the hangar at Porák – featuring bands RAIN, VÁŤÁK – Kabát Revival, and KAPRIOLA. Admission to the Friday concert is 300 CZK in advance (at MIC Jičín) or 390 CZK at the gate. The Saturday main programme begins in the morning and culminates in fireworks at 22:00; admission to the Saturday part is voluntary. The event offers food and refreshments in the Food Zone, plus numerous children's activities. You can reach the airport by plane or car, and camping in your own tent is available directly on the airport grounds.
