Slaný Open Air Festival Valník 2026

The 27th edition of the Slaný open air festival Valník takes place on 21–22 August 2026 in the grounds of Letní kino Slaný (Politických vězňů Street 9) as a two-day event. The festival has been held since 1999 – it takes its name from the legendary zeroth edition, which took place on the local football pitch on an actual farm wagon. The organiser is RSC Čechie Slaný and the programme is rooted in punk rock and its offshoots, featuring a diverse mix of styles including ska, reggae, rock, folk, rock'n'roll and hardcore.

Confirmed bands for 2026 include: STO ZVÍŘAT, KRUCIPÜSK, IVAN MLÁDEK & BANJO BAND, XIII. STOLETÍ, PUNK FLOID, SPS, ŠVIHADLO, NEŽFALEŠ, TOTÁLNÍ NASAZENÍ, HOUBA, ZNOUZECTNOST, VOLANT, P.U.M, DERATIZÉŘI and S.N.A.D. Both days start at 10:00.

The grounds offer a tent village for out-of-town visitors and a guarded car park near the new Slaný sports hall. Reusable cups are available for all drinks. Dogs are not permitted. Holders of TP, ZTP or ZTP/P disability cards have free entry; with ZTP/P, the accompanying person also enters free. Children under 14 accompanied by parents have free entry. Tickets are available in pre-sale through SMSticket and Ticketstream networks, and can also be purchased on site; single-day tickets for Friday or Saturday are also available separately.
