The Mandalorian and Grogu
Kino Měnín, Měnín
Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu is the first Star Wars feature film in seven years. After the fall of the Evil Empire, its warriors are scattered across the galaxy. The newly formed Republic seeks help from the legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu — together they must rescue Rotta the Hutt (Jeremy Allen White), the son of the deceased crime boss Jabba the Hutt, in exchange for information from the Hutt clan. The film also stars Sigourney Weaver. Directed by Jon Favreau, who also wrote it alongside Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor. The score is by Ludwig Göransson, composer of the original series. The film follows the third season of The Mandalorian (2023) and was deliberately written to be understandable even to viewers who haven't watched the previous seasons. The film runs 132 minutes. The screening at Kino Měnín is in Czech.
