Transformations of Clementinum in Photographs

The exhibition "Transformations of Clementinum in Photographs" is installed in the Service Hall on the ground floor of Clementinum (entrance A). Selected photographs capture the appearance of Clementinum from the late 19th century to approximately the mid-20th century. They tell long-forgotten stories and recall places that disappeared or changed their appearance due to the reconstruction of Clementinum for the needs of the then Public and University Library. The exhibition is accessible during the opening hours of the National Library of the Czech Republic, namely Monday to Saturday from 9:00 to 19:00. Admission to the Service Hall is free.
