Layers of Voice

The third evening of the Faculty of Arts OU Concert Series is dedicated to the voice and its various dimensions. The concert, divided into a song and aria section, offers an opportunity to listen to the layers of the human voice in all its range from soprano to bass. Works will be performed that present the voice in both intimate and dramatic form – in the delicate nuances of song composition and in the expressive intensity of operatic arias. The evening will also include a visual intervention. The programme is organized under the auspices of the Department of Solo Singing; renowned singers Nicola Proksch, Veronika Rovná, Simona Mrázová, Michal Dziedzicz and Jan Martiník will perform, with the visual component provided by artist Dominika Sulírová. After the concert, all listeners are cordially invited to the atrium for a glass of wine.
