Aaron Parks Little Big (USA)

Composer and pianist Aaron Parks will perform with his Little Big project. Parks began gaining recognition at the turn of the millennium and in the 2000s attracted attention primarily as a sideman for Terence Blanchard. He achieved major success with his fifth album Invisible Cinema in 2008, released on Blue Note.

The Little Big recording represents a deliberate return to the electric sound of Invisible Cinema — in the same instrumentation with electric guitar, bass guitar, and drums, though with new musicians. The album's sound was again inspired by, among other things, the indie-rock scene.
