Landscape of Model Railways

The Regional Museum K. A. Polánka in Žatec and the Model Railway Club from Jesenice u Rakovníka present the exhibition "Landscape of Model Railways" in the Old Paper Mill (Volyňských Čechů 733). The opening ceremony took place on April 16, 2026 at 5 p.m. The exhibition showcases model railway layouts and railway equipment. After the opening, the exhibition is accessible during regular opening hours of the Old Paper Mill: Tuesday to Friday 9:00–17:00, Saturday and Sunday 13:00–17:00, Monday closed (lunch break 12:00–12:30, last tour at 4:30 p.m.). The exhibition was also accessible during the Museum Night on May 15, 2026. Admission: standard 80 CZK, reduced 50 CZK, family 210 CZK; kindergarten groups 20 CZK/person, primary school 40 CZK/person, secondary and university 50 CZK/person. Payments are accepted in cash only in Czech currency. Photographs and video recordings are taken at openings and events for documentation and promotional purposes of the museum.
