Pferdí Pfestival 2026

Pferdí Pfestival 2026 is the 6th edition of an event organized by PFERDA z.ú., based in Rychnov nad Kněžnou. The festival aims to bridge the world of people with and without disabilities. As director Jana Křížová explained: "We want everyone who comes to the festival to have a wonderful day, and through this we are working to expand our mission to the wider public." It is a family event for both adults and children, held at the grounds of the Institute of Social Care for Youth in Kvasiny.

The musical programme features four bands: NONA from the Rychnov nad Kněžnou Music School, the band Viktorka, Týnišťský Biga band, and as the headline act, Kašpárek v rohlíku. Theatre EMillion will perform on stilts and present the fairy tale Snow White. The programme is complemented by dancers from PFERDA and the Klaunika theatre.

The festival also includes stalls selling products from the Na Plechu bakery, where people with disabilities bake sweet and savoury treats, and coffee from the Láry Fáry training cafés. Children enjoy an accompanying programme with contests and face painting, while adults can browse a craft fair featuring local products. PFERDA z.ú. has been operating since 2004, supporting the integration of adults with intellectual disabilities and mental health conditions in the Rychnov, Náchod and Trutnov regions.
