Prague Steamboat Company River Cruises to Prague Zoo 2026

The Prague Steamboat Company (PPS) operates a regular boat service departing from Rašín Embankment (pier no. 2, between Jiráskův and Palacký bridges) and arriving at Emperor Island near Prague Zoo after 75 minutes. The 2026 sailing season runs from 28 March to 18 October. Boats depart at 09:00, 12:00, and 15:30; return from the zoo at 10:30, 13:30, and 17:15. On weekends in spring (28 March–30 April) and autumn (1 September–18 October) boats run Saturday and Sunday only; from 1 May to 31 August daily. Special dates: 3 April, 6 April, and 28 September. No service on 9 June. One-way tickets: 290 CZK (adults) and 190 CZK (children 3–14.99 years); children under 2.99 years free. Family and combined tickets (cruise + zoo entry) are available only at the PPS office at the pier. Combined tickets cannot be discounted and are valid only on the day of purchase. Standard tickets can be purchased online on the PPS website. Card payment is preferred at the ticket office; both card and cash accepted at Emperor Island pier. 20% discount for seniors over 65, students, and groups over 20 people; disabled (ZTP) 50%, disabled with companion (ZTP/P) 50% + one companion free. Discounts do not combine. Groups over 20 people can be booked by email only. Small and medium dog breeds are allowed on board free of charge (leash + muzzle required); bicycle transport 200 CZK, prams free. The cruise is also suitable for visiting Stromovka Park or the Botanical Garden. During the journey, passengers can admire views of Prague Castle, Vltava bridges and islands, Letná Park, and the Metronome; the boat passes through two locks. Refreshments and WC available on board.
