Following the Trail of Electricity – Children's Day at Dukovany 2026

The Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant Information Centre invites you on Saturday, 23 May 2026, to an entertaining and educational children's programme called "Following the Trail of Electricity". The programme focuses on the production and use of electrical energy and is designed in a playful format with competitions that introduce children to the world of energy. At the start of the tour, children learn how electricity is generated and how it reaches the sockets in their homes. They then receive an adventure map that takes them not only through the information centre but also to places such as a carport with photovoltaic roofing. Along the way, they complete various tasks – solving crosswords, playing hopscotch, or answering a short quiz; parents can help the youngest participants. At the end of the adventure trail, participants receive a prize. The event is aimed primarily at parents with children up to 12 years old, but all children are welcome. Guided tours start at 9:00, 10:30, 12:00, 13:30, and 15:00. Admission is free. Visitors can register in advance by email or by phone.
