Treasures of Our Nature at the Dr. Bohuslav Horak Museum in Rokycany

The exhibition "Treasures of Our Nature" at the Dr. Bohuslav Horak Museum in Rokycany showcases remarkable animals of Czech nature — vertebrates and invertebrates that we encounter on walks but rarely see up close. The core of the exhibition features unique photographs by Vlastimil Procházka, a Rokycany native and nature enthusiast, capturing not only the aesthetic beauty of animals but also their unusual behaviour and complex life strategies. The photographic section is complemented by taxidermied specimens from the museum's own collections and rare loans from the National Museum's archives. The exhibition runs from 17 April to 30 August 2026 and is suitable for family outings and school groups. The museum is open Tuesday to Sunday from 8:00 to 16:00 (lunch break 12:00–12:30); Monday is closed.
