Jazz Dock Orchestra plays Miles Davis

Jazz Dock Orchestra dedicates its May concert to the centenary of the birth of trumpeter and composer Miles Davis. The programme will feature a survey of his work: from the Birth of the Cool project through lyrical ballads and modal jazz (Blue in Green, Milestones, Flamenco Sketches) and Spanish inspiration (Saeta) to his later fusion of jazz with funk and rock (Maiysha).
