The Dave Weckl / Tom Kennedy project brings together drummer Dave Weckl and bassist Tom Kennedy in a lineup completed by keyboardist Stu Mindeman and saxophonist Ryan Devlin.

After European tours in 2021–2024 with the album Stories, the band returns with new material from Kennedy's album New Start, which was produced and mixed by Dave Weckl.

Dave Weckl is an American drummer widely regarded as one of the most technically accomplished jazz and fusion drummers of his generation. He rose to prominence as a member of the Chick Corea Elektric Band in the 1980s and 1990s. He has also released numerous solo albums showcasing his precise technique and musical versatility.

Metro Music Bar is the oldest music club in Brno, located in the underground spaces of the functionalist Alfa Passage on Poštovská Street. The club has operated in various forms since 1937, when it opened as the jazz Metro Music Hall. Since 2008, following an extensive renovation, it has hosted over 250 events per year – ranging from jazz, blues, and rock to funk and multi-genre performances, as well as DJ nights and stand-up comedy shows.
