Orchid Weekend on Žítková

The Orchid Weekend on Žítková is an annual residential event organized by herbalist Kateřina Černá in the kopanička landscape of the White Carpathians. The weekend is dedicated to staying in the meadows during the blooming season of wild orchids — the White Carpathians are among the richest sites of orchid plants in Central Europe, with more than 20 species of wild orchids. The programme includes sharing traditional knowledge of health care, herbalism, and guided nature walks through Žítková. The event takes place away from civilization in the authentic environment of Moravian Kopanička. Advance registration is required.
