Kopecký Forever – Exhibition at Museum Kampa

The exhibition Kopecký Forever presents the work of Czech painter and glass artist Vladimír Kopecký (*1931, Svojanov), whose art combines gestural painting with geometric abstraction. Visitors will see nearly twenty works – a collection of paintings, drawings, and glass pieces. Kopecký studied at the Glass School in Nový Bor and graduated from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in 1956, where he later returned as a professor. In his work, he focuses primarily on painting and glass installation; his pieces are represented in prestigious domestic and international collections. The exhibition is open at Museum Kampa in Sovovy Mills from April 24, 2026.
