Description was written before the event

The 9th concert of the EuroArt Praha festival season 2025/26 takes place on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. in the Martinů Hall of Lichtenštejnský Palace on Malostranské Square in Prague. The Austrian ensemble Accio Piano Trio will perform, featuring Alexandra Maria Seywald (violin), Anne Sophie Keckeis (cello), and Christine Scheicher (piano). The trio was founded in 2013 during studies at the Salzburg Mozarteum; the members studied at the Sándor Végha Institute and completed their master's degree in chamber music at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart, where they graduated with the highest distinction in 2023. The ensemble is part of the NASOM 2025/2026 programme – a prestigious two-year scholarship programme of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs supporting young Austrian musicians performing abroad. The trio's repertoire focuses on Viennese classicism, new music by young Austrian composers, and rarely performed works, particularly by female composers.

The evening's programme consists of three works: W. A. Mozart: Two Fragments for Piano Trio – preserved sections demonstrating Mozart's approach to chamber music with emphasis on equal standing of the instruments; Cécile Chaminade: Piano Trio No. 2 – a composition from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries reflecting French chamber tradition with melodic lyricism and colourful treatment of the piano part and strings; Franz Schubert: Piano Trio in E-flat Major, No. 2, op. 100, D 929.

Tickets priced at 350 / 250 CZK are available for advance purchase at SMSTICKET.CZ or by email reservation at info@euroart.cz; they can be collected in the foyer of Martinů Hall 30 minutes before the concert.
