Testosterone

Testosterone is a raw comedy by contemporary Polish author Andrzej Saramonowicz, directed by Tomáš Svoboda, who also translated the play years ago. The plot unfolds in a remote restaurant where seven men clash—seven different perspectives on what men really think of each other, what they think of women, and whether a desired wedding will ever happen. The production explores how an excess or lack of testosterone clouds men's view of the world. The cast includes Tomáš Měcháček, Zdeněk Maryška, Jiří Racek, Václav Šanda, Michal Maléř, Lukáš Adam, and Petr Jeřábek. The premiere took place on March 7, 2020; the performance runs 135 minutes. The production contains nudity and vulgar language and is not suitable for viewers under 15.
