Tales Come Alive by Hand
Národní muzeum, Prague
The programme "Tales Come Alive by Hand" takes place at the Ethnographic Museum of the National Museum (Kinský Summer House, Kinský Garden 98, Prague 5-Smíchov) and is designed for children aged 5 and up. It combines shared reading of selected fairy tales with a subsequent art workshop where children can create fairy-tale motifs and characters with their own hands. The programme runs from 16:30 to 18:00. The 21 May 2026 session is part of a series dedicated to Karel Čapek's Nine Tales. Entry for children up to 15 years is free (accompanied by an adult); adults pay the standard admission to the Ethnographic Museum (full 120 CZK, reduced 80 CZK). The venue is partially wheelchair accessible.
