A Jump into the Wild

Hoppers is an animated sci-fi comedy from Disney and Pixar (2026), directed by Daniel Chong. The main character is nineteen-year-old Mabel Tanaka, a passionate animal lover facing the threat of her favorite natural spot – the Grove – being destroyed by the construction of a city bypass. Mabel joins a secret scientific project at Bobton University, where scientists have developed technology that allows people to transfer their consciousness into robotic animals called Hoppers. As a robo-beaver, Mabel ventures into the wilderness to find a beaver that could save the Grove, and soon discovers that the animal world has its own rules. The film carries an environmental message and combines humor with a powerful story about coexistence between humans and nature. The film premiered in Czech cinemas on March 5, 2026; runtime 105 minutes; suitable for young audiences.
