Description was written before the event

An original theatrical production honoring the late Czech dissident, poet, and art historian Věra Jirousová (1944–2011). The production was created by a trio consisting of Anna Trojanová, director Adam Svozil, and Tobiáš Jirous – Věra Jirousová's son. Klára Trojanová performs in the lead role. The creators drew from Jirousová's early diaries, personal correspondence, and previously unprocessed archives, as well as memories shared by Tobiáš Jirous. The production first views Věra Jirousová's fate through the eyes of a girl growing up in the 1950s, then through the perspective of her son – offering insight into the inner workings of the Czech dissident movement through the story of a woman long known only as "Magor's wife". The production was created as part of the feminist theatre festival Venušiny dny, which the Venuše ve Švehlovce theatre has organized since 2015. Tickets are available through the GoOut network or one hour before the performance at the theatre itself (Slavíkova 22, Prague 3).
