André Rieu in Prague 2026

World-renowned violinist, conductor, and showman André Rieu returns to the Czech Republic and will perform with his Johann Strauss Orchestra at Prague's O2 arena twice – on May 29 and 30, 2026. Fans can look forward to a romantic and diverse programme featuring opera arias, film music, musicals, hit songs, evergreens, and delightful waltzes. His current album "The Sound of Heaven" showcases Rieu's ability to blend classical music with popular hits – from Händel through Puccini and ABBA to John Williams. The programme includes melodies from musicals such as The Phantom of the Opera, The Sound of Music, and West Side Story, film scores from Star Wars and Titanic, as well as classical compositions. André Rieu's concerts are a unique experience not only because of the music, but also thanks to his charismatic performance, impressive staging, beautiful costumes, and spectacular light show that will captivate audiences of all ages.
