From Testimony to Parable – Who Are We?

The student and youth theatre showcase "From Testimony to Parable – Who Are We?" explores the question of identity and self-expression through scenic art. Unlike previous editions, this year's showcase focuses more on ourselves – on who we are. Through theatrical performances, the productions offer parables carrying historical and cultural symbols that can open up taboo corners of the human soul. The programme includes four productions: ZUŠ Sezimovo Ústí: MY BODY (30 min), Sigma / Gymnázium Přírodní škola / František Tichý: HOTHEAD (50 min), ŠOK (students from Kepler): ME TOO MYTHS (30 min), and Gymnázium Přírodní škola / Johan Březka: AND WE ARE EVEN (45 min). The showcase is organized by Památník ticha o.p.s. in collaboration with Činoherní klub, with expert guarantee from the National Institute for Culture, ARTAMA department, and with financial support from the City of Prague.
