Kabaret Hurvajz - Benefit Performance

Kabaret Hurvajz is a new family production by the Spejbl and Hurvínek Theatre, created to celebrate Hurvínek's 100th birthday. A colourful cabaret full of music, dance, singing, and the best dialogues of Spejbl and Hurvínek offers both fateful and playful encounters. In the story, Spejbl meets his former stage partner Kašpárek, who unexpectedly returns to test how strong the bond between Spejbl and Hurvínek has become over their hundred years together. The script was written by Hana Mikolášková and others, with direction also by Hana Mikolášková, music composed by Jan Lstibůrek, and song lyrics by Robin Král. The cast includes Martin Trecha and Jana Mudráková (voice), with puppets operated by Michal Barták, Adam N. Joura, Matěj Kopecký, Jakub Šafránek, Michaela Jandlová, Karolina Fiala, Ája Macháčková, and Kateřina Humhalová. The cabaret performer is played by Barbora Dobišarová. The benefit performance on 22 May 2026 offers tickets at special prices of 1,290 CZK, 900 CZK, and 700 CZK — proceeds will support activities related to Hurvínek's jubilee celebrations. All visitors to the benefit performance will receive a welcome drink and a small gift, and after the show there will be a puppet masters' autograph session. Ticket holders in rows 4 and 5 can look forward to meeting the puppets and the theatre's management.
