27 LITERS OF ARTIFICIAL BLOOD / Janek & Natálka & Co.

A live-filmed B-movie — the eighth and largest project to date by the Divadla NoD ensemble. This production features an excessive amount of artificial blood and unfolds during a wild nighttime drive in a Renault Megane along the D5 highway. The performance is filmed in real time by cameras and broadcast in film quality onto a screen above the stage — from the audience's perspective, you can watch both the film and its making-of simultaneously. The characters on set speak English and are live-dubbed into Czech. The story follows courier Dvojka (Lumíra Přichystalová), who sets out to save the world after an earthquake causes a blood shortage for Prague's vampires. The production features stunning scenic effects, a wild car chase, a police pursuit, special makeup effects, dubbing, and live music. The entire cast received a broader nomination for the Thalia Awards 2025 in the alternative theatre category.
