Krimifest 2026

Krimifest 2026 will take place for the first time in Beroun – the 26th edition of a three-day professional and educational festival of criminology, crime prevention, forensic sciences, and public safety. The festival is organized by the City of Beroun in cooperation with the Czech Police, under the patronage of Police President Martin Vondrášek. The event runs from May 21–23 at the Na Hrázi campground by the Berounka River and at the Beroun Municipal Cinema. All activities at the Na Hrázi campground are free entry.

Programme by day:
Thursday, May 21 – 17:00 Concert by the Castle Guard Band and Czech Police, Na Hrázi campground (free entry).
Friday, May 22 – 8:00–14:00 school programme at Na Hrázi campground (expert demonstrations by Czech Police units, forensic stations, crime prevention, interactive workshops); 17:00 lecture by Andrej Drbohláv "Psychology of Serial Killers" at Beroun Municipal Cinema (admission 190 CZK for the first 100 spectators / 390 CZK others, advance tickets at Beroun Municipal Cinema).
Saturday, May 23 – 9:00–22:00 public programme at Na Hrázi campground: expert demonstrations by Czech Police, equipment and gear presentations, mobile shooting range, National Anti-Drug Centre, Institute of Criminology, Customs Administration (mobile laboratory, baggage X-ray, canine unit), Beroun Municipal Police; fitness tests for Czech Police recruitment (shuttle run, push-ups, motor coordination test, 1000 m run – under 18 category from 13:30, 18+ from 15:00); 13:30 discussion with actors David Matásk and Igor Orozovic; 18:00–22:00 disco. Refreshments and toilets are available throughout the festival.
