Concrete Fairy Tale

Concrete Fairy Tale is an original production by Theatre Minor, which premiered on 5 October 2025 at the Galaxie cultural station in Prague's South City. The show runs at Galaxie (Arkalycká Street, Prague 4 – Háje), not at Minor's main building on Vodičkova Street. The story follows young Hubert, who moves with his parents from a small town to a housing estate. Summer holidays begin, and he finds himself alone among concrete apartment blocks — surrounded by concrete, asphalt, roads, and grey everywhere. Everything changes when he meets Majda, a girl six months his senior, who shows him that imagination can transform what seems like a bleak environment into an adventurous land. The production is inspired by the Prague South City landscape and is designed for audiences aged 6 and up.
