The film's protagonist is Olga, a fifty-year-old woman living in a meticulously kept apartment in the heart of Mexico City, with everything firmly under control — until circumstances force her to rent out a spare room. Her new tenant does not come alone: he secretly brings his nine-year-old son Cristiano with him.
