38th Ražický pražec
Přirodní amfiteátr, Ražice
Ražický pražec is a traditional festival of folk, country, bluegrass, and tramp music held in a natural amphitheatre in Ražice near Písek. The festival has roots dating back to 1984, and over 400 bands have performed at it throughout its history. After a break caused by the pandemic (the last pre-pandemic edition was in 2019), it has been revived, and the 38th edition takes place from Friday 15 to Sunday 17 May 2026.
On Friday, the programme starts at 16:00; on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00. The line-up includes bands such as Nezmaři, Epydemye, and Malina Brothers, along with a family-friendly supporting programme.
The venue is easily accessible by train — Ražice is served by rail lines from Tábor, Milevsko, Prague, Písek, České Budějovice, Protivín, and Plzeň. The festival is organised by Jiří Hladký from Písek and Zbyněk Marík from Strakonice.
