Helfertovo orchestrální sdružení brings a programme dedicated to Antonín Dvořák to Brno. The concert takes place on Wednesday 10 June 2026 at 19:00 in the Red Church on Komenský Square in the city centre. Conductor Ivo Kučera leads the ensemble. This performance is one of nine Czech dates on the tour, spanning May and June 2026 across venues including Prague's concert halls, the basilica in Hejnice, and castles at Sychrov and Blansko. The Red Church, a Czech Brethren evangelical temple built in 1863–1867, provides a distinctive acoustic setting in historic Brno.

About the venue: Červený kostel

The Evangelical Church of Jan Amos Comenius, popularly known as the Red Church (Červený kostel), stands on Komenského náměstí in the centre of Brno. It was built between 1863 and 1867 to a design by Viennese architect Heinrich von Ferstel in the North German Brick Gothic style. Upon completion it became the first large non-Catholic church in Brno. The three-aisled interior (45 m long, tower 51 m) features a marble pulpit, an altar, and a Rieger organ from 1887; its fine acoustics make it a regular venue for concerts and cultural events.
