An exhibition of photographs and artifacts documenting the history of Aeroclub Tábor on the occasion of its 80th anniversary is on display at Gallery 140 (Koželužská 140, Tábor) from April 23 to May 31, 2026. Aeroclub Tábor was officially founded on April 12, 1946, when Tábor's airfield at Čápův Dvůr was recognized as suitable by the Ministry of Transport commission. Over its decades of operation, thousands of members have passed through the club, including world-renowned aerobatic pilot Martin Šonka. The exhibition features photographs, artifacts, and detailed information about the club's history, sport aviation in the Tábor region, the origins of the local airfield, and its significance today. The opening reception took place on April 22 at 5 p.m. Guided tours with commentary were held on April 29 at 5 p.m. and May 17 at 3 p.m. A gathering of current and former members will take place on May 30 at Tábor airfield. Opening hours in April: Mon–Sun 10 a.m.–12 p.m. / 1–4 p.m.; in May: Mon–Sun 10 a.m.–12 p.m. / 1–5 p.m.
