Horseradish and Radish Festival at the Farm in Hostín u Vojkovic 2026

The Horseradish and Radish Festival takes place at the Český chřest farm in Hostín u Vojkovic on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 May 2026. This is a traditional event held since 2012 that attracts thousands of visitors each year — horseradish enthusiasts from across the country. The programme includes culinary shows and lectures on horseradish cultivation, traditional competitions such as "Horseradish Eater of the Year" and radish shredding. At the farmers' market and fair, you can buy fresh horseradish at farm prices, quality wines from Czech winemakers, artisanal cheeses, sausages and other local products. For children, creative workshops, bouncy castles and farm animal encounters are available. Live music under the open sky completes the atmosphere. Admission to the site is free. It is recommended to bring a cool bag for transporting fresh horseradish home. You can reach Hostín by car (parking on adjacent meadows), by bike along the Labe cycling route, by train (lines R20 or S4 to Vrany or Kralupy nad Vltavou) or by bus line 470 from Mělník or line 473 via Kralupy to the Vojkovice, Hostín stop.
