Elektrobike Festival Říčany 2026

The Elektrobike Festival 2026 takes place on 16–17 May 2026 in the Sportoviště U Lesa grounds in Říčany near Prague. It is the first specialized event of its kind in the Czech Republic dedicated exclusively to e-bikes. Entry to the festival and e-bike testing are free.

The two-day programme includes an expo zone with new and existing products from leading global brands, test rides on e-bikes, expert workshops (e-bike selection, riding safety, service and maintenance, e-bike travel), talks on legislation and long-distance routes in Czechia, and exhibitions. There is also a shopping expo zone with discounted festival prices and a bike depot with stands for visitors arriving on their own bikes.

The main sporting event is the Říčanský E-bike Race (Saturday 16 May), designed as an enduro format combining transfers and timed speed tests. Starting from the U Lesa grounds, competitors complete approximately 14 km of riding to the Šemberské stezky trails, where 6 separately timed sections focused on technique with climbs and descents are prepared. Competitor registration takes place 8:30–9:45, race start at 10:15, results announcement around 15:30–16:00. Entry fee includes accident insurance for the competitor and their e-bike.

The supporting programme includes a trial show led by Vlasta Kabeláč Čiháček – a Říčany native, ten-time Czech Trial champion and UCI European Cup winner – and riders from Bikeskills.cz and Trialshow.cz (world champion Martin Šimůnek, Czech Cup winner Marek Trenér, Lukáš Valný and others). The festival has received the patronage of the Central Bohemian Region governor and the mayor of Říčany.
