THE LOAN
Kulturní dům, Konstantinovy Lázně
A theatrical comedy about the many ways one can ask for money. The play is written by Spanish dramatist Jordi Galcerán, directed by Antonín Procházka. The lead roles are played by Martin Zounar and Filip Blažek — Zounar as bank director Gregorio, Blažek as insolvent loan applicant Antonio.
Gregorio has everything he could wish for — a successful career, a luxurious life, and a beautiful wife. His peace is disrupted by Antonio, a persistent loan applicant whom Gregorio refuses without hesitation. But Antonio has an ace up his sleeve: if he doesn't get the loan, he will seduce his wife — and because he has an incredible talent for this, Gregorio cannot help but fear the worst. When his wife learns of the absurd wager, she becomes so furious that she throws Gregorio out of the house. The desperate banker finds himself in a situation where his only hope of saving his marriage is Antonio himself — his greatest rival and at the same time the only person who can help him win his wife back. A wild game begins, full of unexpected twists, hilarious situations, and cunning seduction tricks.
