Boskovice Castle Comes Alive 2026

YMCA Brno and the Baštýři historical fencing club, in cooperation with Boskovice Castle administration, present the eleventh edition of this popular weekend festival subtitled "Horses, Princesses, Treasure and Giants". The event takes place on Saturday and Sunday, May 16–17, 2026 at the ruins of Boskovice Castle, each day from 9:00 to 16:30. The programme features a mounted knights' tournament, the premiere of the fairy tale "Giants, Fairies and Horses", performances by mercenaries, knights and duelists, competitions for children and adults, a mercenary camp, the band Alioquin, dance lessons, archery and crossbow shooting, a historical fair and refreshments. Everything unfolds in the authentic atmosphere of a festively decorated ancient castle.
