Krkonoše Cycle Buses 2026

Krkonoše cycle buses are tourist bus lines that help cyclists and hiking tourists with transport across the Krkonoše Mountains and surrounding areas. The 2026 season runs from 30 May to 28 September. In June they operate every Saturday and Sunday, in July and August daily, and in September on Thursdays, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. Seats on the bus cannot be reserved. The main line (No. 1) connects the entire mountain range — it runs from Harrachov via Rokytnice nad Jizerou, Jilemnice, Vrchlabí, Janské Lázně, Svoboda nad Úpou, and Pec pod Sněžkou to Pomezní boudy and can carry up to 20 bicycles. Line No. 3 operates between Vrchlabí, Špindlerův Mlýn, and Špindlerova bouda, as well as to Kuks — on weekends and during summer holidays daily. Line No. 4 connects Hradec Králové with Trutnov and Malá Úpa (Pomezní boudy) on weekends. E-bikes are also transported by the cycle bus, but the battery must be removed before boarding and taken with you on the bus. Timetables can be found via IDOS.
