Narvan and Našrot
Klub Mír, Uherské Hradiště
Two bands with a distinctive history will meet on the stage of Klub Mír: NARVAN and NAŠROT.
NARVAN is known for its crossover sound blending guitars, funk, and pop – the singles L.O.V.E. and Kulatej svět are among its most recognizable tracks. The band's career was interrupted by a tragic accident on the way to a concert, in which frontman and founding member Mario Feinberg and guitarist Martin Pokora died. After a quarter-century, Narvan returns to pay tribute to their fallen bandmates and introduce a new lineup – three original members are joined by Tomáš Sobotka and Petr Havlík from the Třebíč band Jezerel.
NAŠROT drew its style from Dead Kennedys and The Who, resulting in a distinctly Czech take on hardcore – very fast and short songs with pub-themed lyrics. The band continues to perform in the same lineup with the same intensity.
