Anders was sexually abused from the age of six by his thirteen-year-old friend Peter. It continued for several years during summer holidays. Today, as an adult, Anders confronts Peter and the two men engage in a difficult dialogue in which they return to repressed memories. The film is an intimate psychological drama about the courage to face the dark depths of one's own soul. Based on honesty, the film shows how silence perpetuates feelings of shame and guilt, which then cast shadows over a person's life even into adulthood. But also that in resisting one's own pain and breaking the silence, relief and hope can be found. A bold and unconventional documentary in its approach takes aim at a taboo subject: approximately one in three sexual assaults on children and adolescents are committed by other children and adolescents.
