Kladno
Městské divadlo Kladno (MDK) is a professional theatre run by the statutory city of Kladno. It occupies two halls of a modernist building from 1912 on Divadelní street, designed by architect Jaroslav Rössler. A permanent professional ensemble has been active here since 1915, making Kladno the fourth Czech city to have a standing professional theatre. The repertoire regularly features drama and musical productions, classical plays and contemporary works in Czech premieres.
