Stará Pekárna (Old Bakery) is a music club and pub in Brno offering concerts of non-commercial genres – jazz, blues, rock, groove, ethno and alternative – on an almost daily basis. Performances take place on a small cosy stage, with guests able to enjoy the programme from the hall or at the double-sided bar. The venue also hosts theatre performances, author readings and vernissages. The building dates to around 1896 and originally housed a real bakery; the club was re-established in 1999.
