Alex Lázaro is a percussionist, composer and producer, long-time collaborator of Colombian experimental artist Lucrecia Dalt. His solo sets draw on an expansive drum kit that includes marimba, vibraphone, flexatone, timpani, octobans and rototoms. The complexity of his setup and approach has been compared to the architectural work of Antoni Gaudí.
