Hurvínek at Strakonice Castle
An interactive exhibition celebrating 100 years of Hurvínek, the most beloved Czech puppet, with historical artifacts, puppet performances, and hands-on activities for all ages.
Hurvínek is an iconic Czech puppet character created by Josef Alois Skupa in 1926. The mischievous boy with a distinctive voice and wit forms an inseparable duo with his father Spejbl. Together, Spejbl and Hurvínek became a symbol of Czech puppetry and gained recognition beyond the borders of Czechia.

Historic railcar Hurvínek runs every weekend from May to September between Břeclav and Lednice. One-way tickets cost 80 CZK; a steam locomotive replaces it on May 16.
