Michal Vajdička is a Slovak theatre director based in the Czech Republic, closely associated with Dejvické divadlo in Prague. He is known for productions with sharp black humour and social themes. In 2012 he directed Ucpanej systém, an adaptation of Irvine Welsh's work, which won the Alfréd Radok Award for best production of the year.
